Sapphire Wind Farm
The Sapphire Wind Farm consists of 75 Vestas 3.6MW Wind Turbine Generators with a combined maximum rating of 270 MW.
The power generated by the Wind farm has been transformed at the Sapphire single bay 33/330kV substation and connected to Transgrid’s existing 330kV Transmission Line via a Transgrid built switching station located adjacent to the wind farm substation.
WEA Group scope consist of Installation of the 33kV Cables, Fibre Optic Cables and Radial Earths between the Substation and Turbines
Lal Lal Wind Farm
The Lal Lal Wind Farm consists of 60 Vestas 3.8MW Wind Turbine Generators with a combined maximum rating of 228MW. The Project is made up of two sites; Elaine which comprises 22 WTG’s and Yendon which comprises 38 WTG’s.
The power generated by the Wind farm has been transformed at a new 66/33kV substation for the Yendon site, and existing terminal station for the Elaine site, connected to the TNSP’s existing HV Transmission Line located adjacent to the wind farm project.
The Bodangora wind farm project comprises 33 wind turbines, a substation, access tracks and an electrical collection system of underground and overhead cables on the land of seven host landowners. The wind farm has an installed capacity of 113.2 MW, which can generate enough electricity to supply 49,000 NSW homes a year.
Emerald Solar Park project, a 72 MW solar farm project located in the Central Highlands Region of Queensland.
Generating since late 2018, the project is making a positive contribution to the National Energy Market by producing enough low carbon energy to power approximately 35,000 Queensland homes. The project became fully operational in early 2019.
